Delete your Refundku account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Refundku account and all the data attached to it, and what happens when you do. It works alongside our Privacy Policy.

How to request full account deletion

1. Send an email to yusrijamaluddin@gmail.com from the same email address you used to sign in to Refundku (via Google Sign-In), with the subject line "Delete my Refundku account".
2. We'll reply to confirm we've received your request and verify it matches your account.
3. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted within 7 business days of a verified request. We'll send a final confirmation email once it's done.

What gets deleted

Data	Deleted?
Profile	Your display name and date of birth, permanently removed.
Sign-in link	The connection between your Google account and Refundku is removed — we never stored your Google password.
Income & PCB records	Every Year of Assessment's income, PCB/MTD, and breakdown figures, deleted.
Relief selections	All toggle and tiered relief choices (e.g. disability status, home loan tier), deleted.
Receipts	Every receipt record and its stored photo, deleted.

What's retained, and for how long

Nothing is kept after deletion completes. The only exception is routine infrastructure backups: our database provider (Supabase) keeps rolling backups for disaster recovery, so a deleted record can persist in a backup snapshot for up to 30 days before it's purged in the normal backup rotation. Those backups aren't accessible through the app, aren't used for any purpose, and exist purely so we can restore service after an infrastructure failure — not to retain your data.
